Rishon LeZion

A lesson on schooling in the Ottoman Empire in the Rishon LeZion Museum. Rishon LeZion is the fourth largest city in Israel and the birthplace of the Hebrew School.

Sde Boker

Ben-Gurion's dessert home in Sde Boker is preserved exactly as it was when he was alive. Ben-Gurion died in 1973.

Revivim

Revivim was one of the original settlements, an agricultural research center. We visited the museum with exhibits from the war of independence.

Netafim

Arad

Arad is the first planned city in Israel. It is multi-ethnic, with Jewish, Arab, and immigrant communities. We visited the Arab section. The photo is the community's mosque.
